  It is undeniable that the Holy Spirit is at work in and through HGC. HGC is over 90 yrs old, it has only had 2 head pastors, the current pastor has lead us for almost 40 years, the music is uplifting, the sermons are inspired, the classes will bring you closer to God.
  
  God is using HGC to accomplish His purposes, over 70 people have become pastors after passing through HGC, several people have gone to the mission field, there is a constant outreach to the local community, and the love of God is ever present.
  
  Don't take my word by any means. Come and see for yourself.

  I have been for council a few times, and I was utterly impressed with the wisdom, patience, and Godly advice I was given. What moved me the most is, I'm not even a member at the
  church and yet the staff and pastors treated me like family. Thank you Hawthorne Christian for being a spiritual lighthouse. I look forward to becoming a member.

  It's a big church that has a lot of small groups where you can find fellowship and accountability.
